My second love… and an epiphany

Needless to say, I learned at an early age that there’s no reason we shouldn’t make a living doing what we love. Many of my friends are making that transition right now, and I’m doing everything I can to help them. I’ve had a lot of help on my journey and now it’s time to give back. More on that later. I started my first “business” when I was 9 years old by getting paid for a magic show. Go ahead, laugh. I understand. It’s silly. … at least until I tell you that by the time I was 14, I was making $50k a year (in 1987 dollars), only working a few hours a week and doing what I loved every day of my life.
